Christmas at Home

Christmas day was spent at home this year, just the six of us. Grandma, Grandad and Uncle Nicholas were due up but Grandma was very poorly with flu and so they stayed away (about which Grandma was most upset!).

Lots of presents for all including Guitar Hero for the Wii which Samantha and Daddy took from the kids and played on!

 
 
 

Omi & Grandad visit for Christmas

Omi, Grandad, Aunty Susanne, Caitlin and Ellie visited us before Christmas for birthday and Christmas celebrations. Aunty Susanne was 40 on the 18th Dec and was given a diving with Sharks gift certificate! We go in May 09!

 

Millie comes Home

Millie came home today after 5 days in Hospital. The staff at Stoke Mandeville were all fantastic; Emma, Tara and Cheryl the midwives at her birth, Bintu in SCBU as well as the huge team on the wards.

Millie Rose Born!

On 11th December at 23:49 Millicent Rose Knights was born. A 22 hour labour for her Mum but all now well. She did have a lung infection and spent two days in the Special Care Baby Unit. After 5 days of anti-biotics she was out of hospital and home.

Halloweeeeennnnn

Sno-dome for free!

On the 22nd Oct Lawrence managed to get tickets for him Charlie and Stephen to go to the Sno-dome in Milton Keynes for Free! Something to do with Peugot apparently. Anyway we had a great time as Lawrence was learning to snowboard. He's actually quite good. Charlie still managed to go faster than Daddy down the slope!

 
 

New House together

On 30th September we all moved into a new house, Samantha, Stephen, Charlie, Lucy and Sammie. Stoke Lane in Great Brickhill. Plenty of space for the new baby to have a room and the house comes with a vegetable patch and potting shed too!

 

Samantha's birthday

On our return from France Samantha was suprised by Matthew, Raul, Lawrence, Ann, Sarah and Martin turning up for a suprise birthda party! We went to the White Lion in Thakeham along with Sanda, John and Nicholas. Returned to spend the evening in the kitchen catching up.

From 23-29th August Samantha and Stephen went to a lovely little Gite in Britanny - Just the two of us!


 

 
 
 

Devon Week

Once again we had a wonderful week in Devon (11-16 August). Made all the more wonderful this year by Samantha joining us! We showed her Sandymouth bay, the Pony Farm and all our favorite haunts.

 
 
 
  
 
 
 

Sailing on the Solent

On the weekend of 2/3 August Samantha, Stephen and The Skipper went sailing from the Hamble to Portsmouth. Unfortunately at Gosport harbour we bumped into a rathe large, new and shiny Oyster! Opps. Lovely sailing however

 

Week on the Wild side

For the last week in July the kids went to Woburn Safari park every day to help. They washed elephants stroked giraffes and generally learnt lots about the park and the animals. Great fun had by all.

 

Baby Bump's 20week scan

Baby Bump is 20 weeks old! Not born yet, but half way there (to being born that is!)


 

Sam's 8!

On Saturday 26th Sam had a football party to celebrate his 8th Birthday.

 
 

Littlehampton

We spent the weekend with The Skipper and Sandra and on Sunday went for a walk and a swim on the Beach at Littlehampton. Both Charlies got soaked!

 

Charlie in France

Charlie went on his final MKPS trip to France for the week of 14-18 July. He had a great time - didn't speak any French tho!

 

Bedford River Festival

Great afternoon of fun fair, boats, dragon races and roman soldiering!
