Lamb's up!

After Christmas Daddy went to see Nick at The Best Butchers to collect a leg of one of our own sheep. We had it for New year and is was delicious. After new year Daddy went back and got the other legs, chops and mince and put them in the freezer with the piggy bits.

Aunty Susanne and cousins Ellie and Caitlin came for the weekend to help eat even more cake to celebrate Millie and Freddie's birthdays

Millie had a party in the parish hall in Stewkley with lots of her friends. There were bouncy castles and lots of cake!

Daddy, Sammie, Charlie and Millie went to see the bonfire and fireworks at the Sports ground in Bierton

 
 
 

Ballet and Birthday

On Daddy's birthday Millie went to a ballet class. Daddy had breakfast in bed and went to Thame market to see sheep and cattle being auctioned with Charlie and Freddie. Mummy and Daddy went out to The Five Elms in Weedon in the evening


Kerstin, the Austrian Au pair, made Daddy a Sheep-face cake which was very yummy!

Bought two store lambs from Derek. They should be finished by early December.

Picking Apples & Blackberries

We picked two big baskets full of apples and loads of blackberries

Daddy turned nearly everything into yummy jam or crumble

Bacon bits

The pigs were delivered to Simon at The Best Butchers and turned into over 300 sausages and 660 rashers of bacon plus 30kg ham and the same in rolled shoulder joints!

 
 

Pull!

After the best part of nine months Daddy and Granddad John finally arranged to use their Christmas presents and go for a shooting lesson. Excellent fun.

New School Year

Sammie started at AGS, Lucy moved into Year 8 at AHS and Charlie started his first GCSE year

 

Mummy's birthday

Mummy had breakfast in bed in France. We went to the beach and then the four of us went out for a lovely meal in the evening

Brussells and Beaches

Mummy, Daddy, Millie and Freddie took a trip across to see Uncle Phil in Brussels (finally!). We stayed for two nights and then went via Brugge to Le Touquet in France for some sand and sun. We got plenty of the former and very little of the latter!

 
 
 

Chataeu Neuf du Millie

On our trip to France and Belgium we stopped in at the Calais Vin wine warehouse and bought some wine - including a very nice bottle of Chataeu neuf du Pape 2008 to keep for Millie when she's older

 

Aylesbury 10k

Daddy and Uncle Lawrence ran the Aylesbury 10k. Daddy didn't hold Lawrence back much and they finished in 57 minutes

 

Measuring Sausages

Daddy used a special measuring tape to try and get an idea of the Pigs' weight. They weighhed about 100kg - so needed to grow a bit more

The good old garden sprinkler provided hours of fun for Millie and Freddie

 

Boys' birthdays

For their birthdays, along with a host of other stuff, the boys got a proper bow and arrow set! We went out to 'Red Hot' in Milton Keynes for a meal too.

CLA Game Fair

On Sunday Mummy, Daddy, Millie and Freddie went to the CLA Game Fair. It was Massive! Lots to see. We might have to camp and go for all three days next year!

Charlie's Birthday Camping

At the weekend Charlie had Ollie and Mitch over for a BBQ and fire down on the field. They camped out over night and only got a little bit soaked!

Hulcott fete

On Saturday Mummy, Daddy and Millie went to Hulcott fete. We won a colouring book and half a leg of lamb!

Sam's last day at MKPS

After eight years Sam had his final day at MKPS and a tearful final assembly (For Daddy if not Sam!)

Sam's end of year Prom

Looking very cool Sam took a Limo ride with 13 other booys from his year to the end of term prom. Everyone had a fantastic time.

Sammy came 3rd in the 80m and 1st in the 50m

 

Devon Mini break

From the 24th to 29th June Mummy, Daddy, Millie and Freddie went to The Devon House. We also went to the Sea Side and The Pony Farm!
